The purpose of the Mystic River Yacht Club shall be to promote the participation and enjoyment of Yachting, both Sail and Power; to encourage Racing, Cruising, and all other activities related to Yachting and contributing to its pleasure and the promotion of its future; to foster a knowledge of Seamanship, an understanding of Rules of the Road and Yacht Etiquette; to encourage an active interest in Juniors Sailing. To maintain suitable Quarters for the enjoyment of its Members and maintain a Yacht Club run by its Members, for its Members.

The MRYC organization will offer social, community activities - educating and sharing skills that contribute to safe and enjoyable boating for all ages. Also, the MRYC will initiate competition in sailing events open to all recognized yacht clubs as well as in-house competitions.

We have come a long way already ... and all we need now is YOU. Come to a social event, or email us, to learn more. We will cap the charter membership at 75, after which you will decide the course of the club and its membership.
